How to Pay

There are four easy ways to pay for your JB Maestro® Prepaid Card and eccount:

1. By debit card online (click here)

2. By Postal Order if registering by mail

3. By text message

Please follow the instructions below to obtain your payment reference via text message to complete your activation.

Text the word JBCARD to 80777


You’ll receive two messages; the second message will contain your 10-digit payment reference.

To activate online, follow the usual buy process and enter this payment reference on the secure payment page. If you have already received your text message containing the payment reference, please click here.

If you activate by mail, write down your payment reference number in the space provided on the form.

When paying for your JB Card by SMS, the charge to your mobile phone will be £10.00 – payable in 2 text message instalments of £5.00 each. Please check with your service provider for any additional text charges that may apply. You must have the permission of the bill payer before using the service.

4. By Voucher – at PayPoint® locations.

You can pay for your JB Card using a Voucher at any PayPoint location in the UK (click here to download and print a copy). The assistant will scan the voucher and ask you to pay £10 for your JB Card. You will be given a receipt with the payment reference on it. Follow the usual buy process online and enter the payment reference at the payment stage, you will not be charged again and your JB Card will be sent to you.

If activating by mail rather than online then write down your payment reference in the space provided on the activation form.
